Put up a Hunter ceiling fan in living room this afternoon. Customer had an existing light fixture, so used the same junction box after verifying it was properly secured to ceiling joist. Fan includes remote control and LED light kit. Had to run a quick trip to the shop for longer downrod – high ceilings in this home! Everything balanced and running silently now. No wobble at all. Customer super pleased with improved air circulation. Quick, clean job. In and out in about an hour.
Just wrapped up the installation of a Generac whole home generator for a client in Dallas. The job went smoothly despite some tricky terrain on the property. We placed the unit on a new concrete pad on the north side of the house, installed the automatic transfer switch, and connected to the home's electrical panel and natural gas line. Ran all necessary wiring through conduit and conducted thorough testing of all systems. The generator fired up perfectly during our simulation test. Walked the homeowner through basic operation and maintenance requirements. The family now has reliable backup power for the next storm that hits!

I installed new outlets in the pet store.
I performed an in-home electrical inspection on a newly purchased home. I made recommendations for a whole-home surge protection system.

Just finished major rewiring project on 1962 ranch home in Dallas. Original wiring was mostly ungrounded 2-wire system with insufficient capacity for modern needs. Had to work carefully to minimize wall damage while replacing all circuits. Upgraded service from 100A to 200A, installed new panel with expanded capacity. Added dedicated circuits for kitchen appliances, HVAC, and home office. Replaced all outlets with grounded receptacles and added GFCI protection in wet locations. Updated all light fixtures to accommodate LED bulbs. This was challenging with limited attic access, but we found solutions that minimized visible damage to finished spaces. Homeowners now have safe, modern electrical system that meets current code requirements and can handle additional load if needed in future.

Whew, just finished a panel upgrade in Dallas. The old panel was a real relic - only 100 amps and totally maxed out. No room for any new circuits. We swapped it out for a shiny new 200 amp panel with plenty of space for future expansion. Moved all the existing circuits over, added a few new ones for the appliances the customer is planning to install, and tidied up all the wiring. Panel is looking great and ready to handle anything they throw at it now.

I met with a customer who wanted to install outdoor lighting at their RV carport. We discussed different options and created a plan that would meet their needs. The customer scheduled the installation for next week.

I recently completed rewiring at an old building that is part of a local business looking to expand. I provided information and a quote for further electrical rewiring work they are looking to have done.
